Paula Dean Biscuit Recipe?

On an episode on Paula Dean yesterday, She made Chicken Fried Steak and Buttermilk Biscuits, Does anyone have the biscuit recipe, They looked so big and fluffy. Please post the recipe. Many Thanks!Paula Dean Biscuit Recipe?
Biscuits (Paula Deen)





3 cups all-purpose flour


2 tablespoons sugar


2 1/2 teaspoons baking锟?powder


1/2 teaspoon baking soda锟?


1/2 teaspoon salt


1/2 cup vegetable锟?shortening


1 cups buttermilk


1/4 cup melted unsalted butter锟?


Milk锟?gravy, recipe follows


Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.


In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Cut in the shortening with a fork until it looks like cornmeal. Add the milk, a little at a time, stirring constantly until well mixed.


Turn the dough锟?out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead lightly two or three times. Roll


out the dough with a floured rolling pin to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with a 2-inch cutter.





Paula Dean Biscuit Recipe?
Basic Biscuits:


1 package yeast


1/2 cup lukewarm water


5 cups all-purpose flour


1 teaspoon baking soda


1/2 teaspoon salt


1 tablespoon baking powder


2 tablespoons sugar


3/4 cup solid shortening (recommended: Crisco)


2 cups buttermilk





Biscuits: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Dissolve yeast in warm water; set aside. Mix dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening. Add yeast and buttermilk and mix well. Turn dough onto lightly floured surface and roll out to desired thickness. Cut with small biscuit cutter and place on greased baking sheet. Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.
